Taisho Advances ESG Commitment Through Community Donation for Kythe Foundation

Taisho Pharmaceuticals (Philippines), Inc recently extended its support to the Kythe Foundation through the donation of medicines, toys, and school supplies on December 10, 2025. This meaningful initiative was followed by a hospital visit at the Philippine Orthopedic Center on December 11, 2025, personally attended by the Company President, Mr. Peng Jiang.

This initiative supports the Company’s Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) goals by contributing to community welfare and advancing social well-being, particularly in areas aligned with public health and patient support. Through this activity, the Company aims to strengthen the social well-being through community-based assistance and public health support by addressing patient needs.

One of the primary beneficiaries of this initiative is the Kythe Foundation, a non-stock, non-profit organization dedicated to providing support to hospitalized children with cancer and other chronic illnesses. Kythe’s advocacy aligns with the Company’s mission to enrich people’s lives, particularly by helping improve patient care and overall well-being.

According to the Foundation, the donated items will be distributed to five (5) partner hospitals across Metro Manila, including the Philippine Orthopedic Center. This initiative is expected to benefit approximately 1,600 pediatric patients.
