Taisho Pharmaceuticals (Philippines), Inc. Earns EcoVadis Gold Medal for Sustainability Excellence
Taisho Pharmaceuticals (Philippines), Inc. is proud to announce that it has been awarded a Gold Medal in the latest EcoVadis Sustainability Assessment, with results released on February 10, 2026.
This distinction places the Company in the 96th percentile among all Companies assessed globally and within the Top 2% of Companies in the same industry rated by EcoVadis in the past year.
EcoVadis is one of the world’s most trusted, evidence-based Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and sustainability rating platforms, evaluating more than 130,000 companies across over 220 industries in 180 countries. The assessment involves a stringent evaluation of 21 sustainability criteria across four (4) core themes: 1) Environment; 2) Labor and Human Rights; 3) Ethics and 4) Sustainable Procurement.
This recognition reflects the Company’s strong commitment to sustainable business practices, particularly in the areas of environmental stewardship, social responsibility, and ethical governance. It affirms its continued dedication to integrating Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles into its operations and advancing responsible business conduct across the organization.
The Company began its EcoVadis sustainability journey in 2022, earning a Bronze Medal as a baseline measure of its ESG performance. Through continuous improvement initiatives and strengthened sustainability programs, the Company achieved Silver Medal in 2023 and 2024 in its reassessment, despite the implementation of a stricter scoring matrix in 2024.
It has finally snitched its Gold medal in the last 2025 assessment through the collective effort of its employees, business partners and stakeholders.
The Company remains steadfast in its commitment to sustainability. It will continue to enhance its environmental, social, and governance initiatives, further integrating sustainable practices into its business operations and across its supply chain.
